Carene is a clinical dietitian and lactation consultant (Bsc Dietetics RD(SA) ; SACLC). She decided to venture into the art of lactation support after working with severely malnourished children and finding that in most cases the cause was failure in the breastfeeding relationship. She now feels honoured to be able to support families in their breastfeeding journey and by doing so preventing malnutrition and it’s complications. Bump to Babe was born to prepare families for breastfeeding, support them to have their optimal breastfeeding experience and guide them on the introduction of solids.
